Sustainable living as a life style that attempts to reduce an individual’s or society’s use of the earth’s natural and personal resources. Our country is bestowed with native breed cows. We look at ways in which we can make our living desi cow centric and enable sustainable living which benefits both the consumer and the producer of the products. Reviving our native practices of agriculture, reducing usage of fertilizers/pesticides and replacing them with cow based products is one of our key initiatives. Hence this will leave a positive impact on our environment.
To bring in sustainable living and reducing carbon foot print we conduct events on a regular basis and spread awareness about desi cows. Desi cow remains a primary focal point for creating a sustainable living through proper agriculture practices, energy consumption and right diet practices. The events that we conduct in villages and gou shaalaas are aimed at creating a connect between the participants and desi cow. The key take away will be the awareness and how they can make desi cow as part of their daily life.
Eco friendly cities/villages(Gou Grama) as renewable technologies and build local environment in line with the sustainable environment maintained by our fore fathers for generations. As part of strengthening desi cow based economy we focus on some of the allied activities like tree plantations and rain water harvesting. This helps in our villages and goushalas to focus on breeding desi cows and bring best agricultural practices given a thriving green eco system.
