September 4, 2024, the Rotary Club of Abbigere and Rotaract RUAS, in collaboration with GoPals, successfully hosted the Eco-Embrace: Plantable Gomaya Ganesha Workshop at M.N. Technical Institute, Bengaluru.
We proudly set a record by crafting 600 Gomaya Ganesha idols in just 60 mintues, which were distributed to 600 families, impacting 2,400 individuals.
These eco-friendly idols, made from natural materials and embedded with seeds, were designed to be planted after Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. As they grow into trees, they symbolize a fusion of cultural tradition and environmental sustainability.
